General Information

Official Language
The official language of the Congress will be English. Simultaneous translation into Spanish and Portuguese will be available for Keynote Lectures, Core Symposia, Special Sessions and selected Regular Symposia. There will be a track in the scientific programme with Symposia and Oral Communication Sessions in Spanish or Portuguese.

Continuing Medical Education
The Congress has been accredited for a maximum of 32.0 PRA Category 1 Credits by the American Medical Association and for 24 credits by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

Registration Counters
The registration counters will be located in the San Isidro Room (basement, Sheraton Hotel). They will be open on September 18 from 7.00 to18.00 and on September 19, 20, 21 and 22 from 8.00 to 18.00.

Projections
Power Point projection will be available in all meeting rooms. Speakers are requested to bring a CD-ROM or pendrive with their presentation to the Speaker Rehearsal Room (Gómez Lozada Room, 2nd floor, Sheraton Hotel) at least three hours before the beginning of their session (or, if their session starts at 9.00, by 18.00 on the previous day). Speakers will not be allowed to use their own computer during the session for their presentation.
- Posters
Posters should be placed between 9.00 and 10.00 on the day in which the presentation is scheduled, and removed on the same day between 18.00 and 19.00. The presenting author should be available near the poster for the entire poster session.
- Exhibition
A commercial and non-commercial exhibition will take place every day from 9.00 to 19.00 in the Foyer Libertador (first floor, Sheraton Hotel), San Telmo Room (ground floor, Sheraton Hotel) and San Isidro Room (basement, Sheraton Hotel).
- Weather
The weather in Buenos Aires during September is warm and the evenings are lightly cool. The average daily temperature is 12°C.

Ezeiza International Airport (Buenos Aires) is served by several international airlines. The distance between Ezeiza and Buenos Aires city center is 35 km (the cost of a taxi ride is about USD 80).
